Aramsco
America's largest supplier to the environmental clean-up industry.
On September 11, 2001, less than 4 hours after the first tower was hit at the World Trade Center, ARAMSCO’s New York distribution facility had trucks at ground zero and remained available until the last contractor completed their rescue efforts. Among the agencies the Company supplied was the Pentagon, FBI, DEA, Secret Service, US Marines, National Guard and numerous private industry groups.
Several months later at the height of the Anthrax scare, we were an integral part of the clean up projects. We were able to supply critical personal protective equipment to decon teams around the nation.
November 2004, ARAMSCO responded to an oil spill on the Delaware River which affected approximately 57 miles of shoreline from the Tacony-Palmyra Bridge (NJ/PA) to south of the Smyrna River (Delaware). Our corporate headquarters in New Jersey was the command center for supplying over 3,000 contractors who responded to the clean-up effort. Part of that facility was retrofitted to assist the Wildlife Rehabilitation volunteers for the treatment and cleaning of hundreds of birds and animals affected by the spill.
2005 brought the two most destructive hurricanes to hit the gulf coast region of the United States in recent history – Katrina and Rita. ARAMSCO responded by opening a warehouse in St. Rose, LA, which enabled us to have our personnel from all over the country available “24 / 7” in one central location for over 90 days straight, to aid in the relief efforts.

The World Trade Center Medical Monitoring Program provides free, confidential medical monitoring examinations to workers and volunteers who responded to the September 11th attacks in New York City. For the next five years, responders who participate in the program will receive comprehensive and confidential medical examinations at regular intervals.
A Monitoring Program announcement letter was sent to the participants of the WTC Worker & Volunteer Medical Screening Program, informing them of the availability of new funding, allocated by Congress, to provide for additional medical examinations over the next 5 years.
