Climate Works for All’s #GreenHealthySchools campaign is requesting Mayor Bill de Blasio and the next administration to fund the transition to zero-emission schools like P.S. 62 on Staten Island, creating good-paying green jobs and healthier communities. Sign and share the petition!

A new report from the Climate Works for All coalition calculates that $1.5 billion is needed to install solar and HVAC systems in every public school in New York City. The Department of Citywide Administrative Services currently has $3.8 billion allocated for energy-efficiency upgrades. The mayor must begin the work of using these funds for new solar and HVAC systems in every public school in the five boroughs, and our next mayor must continue this investment in the next administration.
