Local 3’s own Election Day is this Saturday, May 16th. Your vote matters. Voting will take place at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center on 11th Avenue from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Remember to bring your union card or a paid dues receipt, as Election Board members will be verifying them at the entrance to the poll site.
Volunteers are still needed to make this a smooth operation. If you are interested in volunteering this Saturday between 5:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., please call (718) 591-4000 ext. 451 and leave your full name, union card number, and phone number.
Shuttle service will be provided to and from the Javits Center, Penn Station, Electchester, and White Plains. Check out the latest Electrical Union World newspaper in print and online for shuttle times and locations, a sample ballot, and more voting information. Copies of the newspaper and election poster will be available at the General Membership meeting this Thursday, May 14th, which is also the annual “Hot Dog Meeting.”
