On the anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, we say the names of the 21 members of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) who were killed while working at the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. Today, Local 3 also mourns the loss of 31 union members to 9/11-related illnesses. May we never forget them and the thousands of construction workers and first responders who led the recovery efforts at Ground Zero and the rebuilding of downtown Manhattan since that fateful day.
