Labor Day holds a special place for Local Union No. 3, IBEW.

Due to scheduling conflicts with the 25th anniversary of 9/11, the Rosh Hashanah holiday, and increased security presence on the weekend of September 11th, New York City’s unions will celebrate Labor Day with a rally and march on Tuesday, September 8th. The rally will start at 4:30 p.m. on Liberty Street (between Church Street and Broadway) in downtown Manhattan, and the march will lead to Thomas Paine Park (in Foley Square/Federal Plaza).

Please save this date and spread the word at work and at home. Despite the change in plans, Local 3 plans to have a huge turnout in solidarity with our sisters and brothers across the Labor Movement.
