The Employment Committee of the Joint Industry Board has determined that the emergency work sharing provisions of the Employment Plan will end. There will not be a new furlough requirement as of January 5, 2026. Instead, a modified Vacation Plan will begin on January 5th through March 31st.
Under this Plan, all ‘A’ Journeypersons will have their vacations pro-rated as follows:

These weeks of vacation for all ‘A’ Journeypersons during this modified Vacation Plan will be optional.
It is anticipated that a new Vacation Plan period will be in effect from April 1, 2026, through March 31, 2027, unless another Emergency Work Sharing Plan is implemented.
