The New York City Department of Citywide Administrative Services (DCAS) has opened applications for Electricians and Stationary Engineers - Electric. The application period is March 4, 2026 to March 24, 2026. You must apply through the Online Application System (OASys) at www.nyc.gov/examsforjobs after creating an OASys account using your valid email address.

Multiple-choice testing is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 for Electricians (Exam No. 6048) and on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 for Stationary Engineers - Electric (Exam No. 6103). DCAS will assign your test site and date. Your final score on the exam will determine your ranking on the eligible candidates list, which usually remains active for four (4) years.
